2026 Irrigation Season Update
The Medford Irrigation District is preparing to begin the 2026 season. Please review the following schedule and requirements for water service:
Operational Schedule
- May 1 (Friday): Installation of the Phoenix diversion in Bear Creek.
- May 2 – May 3: System flushing of the Phoenix canal will take place over the weekend.
- Week of May 4: The District will begin accepting water orders.
Water Supply Outlook
Due to historically low snowpack, we are currently experiencing reduced streamflows. The District will continue to utilize available natural flow as long as possible. A formal decision regarding the timing/use of stored water supplies will be determined during the Board of Directors meeting on May 13th.
Account Requirements & Ordering
To ensure eligibility for water delivery, please note the following:
- Assessments: Annual assessments must be paid in full to receive water.
- Exceptions: Accounts that are current on an existing District payment plan.
- How to Order: Please contact the main office starting the week of May 4th to place your order.
