2026 Season Update

2026 Season Update: Early Transition to Stored Water

Irrigation deliveries began the week of May 4th. However, due to extremely low streamflows following this winter’s snow drought, we have already begun utilizing stored water from Fish Lake and Emigrant Lake. This transition has occurred approximately six weeks earlier than average.

All Rogue Valley districts are feeling the impact of these conditions, with Fourmile and Fish Lake being particularly affected. Current data shows our combined reservoir levels are significantly below both 2025 levels and the 20-year average. Consequently, we anticipate a much shorter irrigation season than usual.

MID, TID, and RRVID have developed a joint resource document to provide ongoing updates and support. We will keep this information current as we navigate these drought conditions together.
