As some of you have noticed, the canal level on the lower end of our system (Old Stage, Ross Lane, and Beall Lane) dropped last night.

We anticipated some challenges and delays this season, given that Emigrant Lake currently holds only about 20% of our supplemental water supply. Historically, we see a surplus of water over Memorial Day weekend, so we expect canal levels to recover over the next few days.

Looking ahead to cooler temperatures next week and a possibility of rain on Tuesday, we are working to conserve the limited supply we have available for later in the summer.

We will continue to monitor water levels closely and make adjustments as needed. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we manage the limited water resources this season.
